Movies and Shows Watched

I watch a lot of movies and shows. I should record it and look back.

Always Be My Maybe

It was sweet. Keanu Reeves was such a great cameo, a caricature of himself. Sometimes I worry I’m like Sasha Tran, just chasing a more money, prestige, career, and not really appreciating or dealing with my small but actually important problems. Family as well. Sometimes I’m close but I’ve also felt we’ve drifted.

Constantine

I love Keanu Reeves. I love John Constantine, and this movie does it justice. Religion is a hard subject for me, I was born Christian, but don’t necessarily see myself as it anymore. It’s certainly damning to see and think about; it makes kind of depressed in the meaningless of it and I see Christians comforted and happy. I want it but can’t do it.

When Harry Met Sally

I love this movie. It’s sweet. It shows how women and men think differently. It shows these people grow. It shows them struggle and define their relationship but is also such a genuine and sincere friendship. I love how bombast Harry is, I need that sort of openness and relaxedness to say whatever is on my mind.

Black Mirror: Striking Vipers

Wow I liked the actors, and it turned out with a nicer ending than I expected. I like that. The Asian dude was really cut, damn.

Designated Survivor

Watched the first two episodes browsing Netflix. I really like it! The premise is fun, when a secretary, unexperienced in leading a country becomes President, he has to step up, and it’s really cool seeing him do so. However, the bombing plot twist isn’t worth the investment to watch.

Sleepless in Seattle

I’ve watched it before with my dad. It’s really sweet and sappy, and gives me good Seattle vibes. Man, I miss Seattle. It’s funny how all the women are in love with the voice and caring nature of Tom Hank’s character. The story seems so improbable but is sappy good, I’ll write it off.
